Founded by Howard Collins, a creative visionary with deep roots in fashion and graphic design, From Trouble to Triumph is more than just a book series. It’s a blueprint for young dreamers, teaching them how to turn their talents into thriving businesses while overcoming life’s obstacles.
Our journey began with a simple but powerful idea: What if kids could learn the fundamentals of business in a fun, engaging, and relatable way? That idea sparked the creation of From Trouble to Triumph: How to Start a Successful T-Shirt Business Company, a step-by-step guide wrapped in an inspiring story about a young boy named Howard Collins who transforms his life through entrepreneurship, creativity, and financial literacy.
With the support of his mother, Grace, Howard learns how to create, sell, and grow his business—proving that no matter where you start, success is within reach. His story reflects the real-life lessons that young minds need to thrive in today’s world.
But From Trouble to Triumph isn’t just a book—it’s a movement. Through mentorship programs, workshops, and online content, we’re building a community of future entrepreneurs, innovators, and leaders. We encourage kids, teens and young creators to design a T-shirt inspired by what triumph means to them. Whether it’s overcoming a challenge, celebrating their culture or dreaming big.
How It Works:
1. Create a T-Shirt Design
- Use paper, digital apps (like Canva or Procreate) or actual fabric markers to create your custom tee.
2. Record a TikTok
- With your book show your design process or final T-shirt.
- Play or lip-sync to the official "Baad Days" song in the background.
- Add a caption explaining what your design means.
3. Use the Hashtag:
- Post using #TriumphTeeChallenge and tag @FromTroubleToTriumph.
Contest Rules:
To officially enter the #TriumphTeeChallenge, participants must purchase the book From Trouble To Triumph: How To Start A Successful T-Shirt Business Company.
Proof of purchase (screenshot or order number) must be included in the video caption.
- Open to kids, teens and young adults ages 7–18.
- Submission deadline: September, 2025

- Designs can be drawn, painted, digital or made on a real tee.
